## About Fake Mayo

Fake Mayo is a newsletter and blog focused on real, practical stories from entrepreneurs about how they got their first customers or users for their business, product, or side project. It’s designed for indie makers, solopreneurs, startup founders, and builders who want to learn actionable strategies rather than generic hype.

What It Covers

Founder interviews and case studies
Each post dives into a founder’s journey, describing what they actually did to get their first paying customers or early users.

Tactical breakdowns
The stories go beyond surface-level fluff and include specific tactics like going viral on Reddit, using social media outreach, experimenting with niche communities, referral mechanics, and more.

Practical lessons
By showing both what worked and what didn’t, the newsletter helps readers avoid common mistakes and adapt strategies to their own projects.
